Love of Community is proposing an elderly-support initiative in Laos to encourage greater community involvement in the well-being of older adults. The proposed activities may include friendly visits, essential-needs assistance, and collaboration with appropriate local organizations that understand the needs of their communities.
Older people carry family histories, cultural knowledge, and life experiences that deserve to be honored. By creating opportunities for people to connect across generations, we hope to promote dignity, companionship, and a stronger sense of belonging.
Our approach is centered on listening to local communities, respecting cultural traditions, and working with suitable partners to identify practical ways to help.
